e-Statements

Here at WCU, we want to do our part for the planet by encouraging members to switch to e-statements. They offer all the same transaction and history details as printed statements—but you access them securely through online banking. In fact, you can sign up for e-Statement when you log in to your digital banking! Plus, its super easy.  

How to sign up for eStatements

> In digital banking, under the 'My Weyburn' menu, simply choose 'Statement preferences' under 'Settings'. 
> Ensure the 'Paper statement' is toggled to 'Off' for each account.

It's just that easy!

Alerts

Stay in the know and in control with alerts. 

> Security alerts will alert you when things happen in your account that may indicate fraud, like if your password is changed or your account is locked out.
> You can set up account alerts to let you know if certain transactions happen or not - or account conditions are met. 

Our $0.02: A low balance alert is a great place to start. A low balance alert can let you know when to move money from your savings into your chequing account - or maybe just tighten spending until the next payday. If you have a joint account, a low balance alert can be a cue to help you discuss family finances and spending patterns before things go too far for your comfort. Other alerts to consider include setting up an alert for big withdrawals, if scheduled payments or transfers fail, or to let you know when deposits come in. Knowledge is power.

How to get a draft or Manager’s Trust Cheque

To place your order, simply stop by your local branch or phone our Contact Centre at 306-842-6641.

You’ll then be able to pick up your order in-branch when ready.

A safe deposit box, also known as a safety deposit box, is an individually secured container held within our vault. Members typically store important documents or valuables they want to keep confidential and secure. Examples would include jewelry, legal documents, passports, collectibles, or even personal irreplaceable gifts and heirlooms.
Safe Deposit Boxes offer:
  • Secure storage at a competitive annual rental charge.
  • Senior and package accounts receive a discount on annual Safety Deposit Box rental.
  • Box sizes vary from branch to branch; you can choose a size that fits your budget and storage requirements.
