We put people before profit!
And when we do earn profits, our profits have a higher purpose. A bank’s success is measured by the impact they have on Wall Street – our success is measured by the impact we have on Main Street. We believe in working together to build a stronger community and we put our money where our mouth is. We invest time, energy and money in initiatives that have real impact our community. To say we believe in community investment is an understatement; it’s an essential part of who we are and that's something we're proud of.

Helping Build a Strong and Vibrant Community!
Weyburn Credit Union is committed to building a strong and vibrant community! Communities flourish when they are supported by companies who believe in social responsibility and Weyburn Credit Union prides itself on being a good corporate citizen. In fact, corporate responsibility is a cornerstone of our organization and is supported and encouraged at every level of our Credit Union. We are committed to making a positive impact in our community and over the years, we've done just that with sponsorships and donations to health care, the arts, education, agriculture, economic development, recreation and sport.
Our Community Fund was established by our Board of Directors to help support and develop sustainable programs and projects that enhance our communities. Each year, we allocate a portion of our profits into the Community Fund; local community groups are then able to apply for funding for programs and projects. To be considered, projects must have a far-reaching, positive impact on the community and intend to be self-sustainable. Requests of $2,500.00 or more depending on the scope and scale of the project and the anticipated impact on the community and surrounding areas will be assessed by an evaluation committee comprised of WCU staff, management and directors. The focus of Weyburn Credit Union's Community Fund will be on sponsorship opportunities that align with the Credit Union's goals, priorities, and core values by contributing to community in a meaningful way.
Please use our application as a guideline and forward your sponsorship package to our VP of Marketing. To allow the committee sufficient time, all requests require at least four months lead time before a decision is made.
We love hearing about exciting new programs and projects planned for our community. If you need an initial investment to bring your idea to reality, maybe we can help!

Giving Back in a Meaningful Way!
We’re only as strong as the members and the communities we serve. That’s why community involvement is at the heart of everything we do. We’re here to help members live the life they want, and that means building strong, healthy, positive communities in which to live and work. We consider donation and sponsorship requests where our involvement would play a meaningful role in the growth and development of our trade area.
Requests can be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org.
