Alissa brings nearly eight years of experience within the credit union system, including three years with Weyburn Credit Union. With a Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge and her designation as a Fellow of the Credit Union Institute of Canada, she combines strong knowledge with a well-rounded understanding of member needs.
She enjoys connecting with members and helping them navigate their financial decisions with clarity and confidence. Alissa takes a thoughtful, personalized approach, listening carefully to understand each member’s goals before offering guidance.
Her focus is on creating an experience where members feel supported, respected, and confident in their next steps.
Whether navigating a mortgage, managing debt, or planning ahead, Alissa is committed to helping members feel informed rather than overwhelmed.
Having lived in the area as a child and returning to Weyburn in 2022, she values being part of the community and gives back through volunteer efforts.
Outside of work, Alissa enjoys reading, biking, and going for walks around Weyburn. She has also played piano since she was young and continues to teach herself new songs.
For Alissa, success means members feel confident, informed, and supported every step of the way. She strives to make each interaction personal, consistent, and genuine so members know they’re working with someone who truly cares about their financial well-being.
Jenna has been a dedicated part of the Weyburn Credit Union team since 2013, bringing over a decade of experience and a deep understanding of member needs. After spending three and a half years in the Contact Centre, she built a strong foundation that naturally led her into her role as a Member Relationship Specialist.
What Jenna enjoys most about her work is getting to know members and helping them reach meaningful financial milestones, whether that’s purchasing their first home, upgrading a vehicle, or simplifying their finances through consolidation. She’s passionate about making the process feel approachable and stress-free, taking the time to explain each step and ensuring members feel comfortable asking questions along the way.
Jenna grew up on a farm near Weyburn and has called the community home for many years. She values being part of a close-knit community and is actively involved in local fundraising initiatives.
Outside of work, Jenna enjoys staying active, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends. You’ll often find her out for a walk or fitting in a workout.

Jamie brings over eight years of experience within the Credit Union system, including five years with Weyburn Credit Union. Her background, combined with hands-on experience working closely with members, has shaped her thoughtful and supportive approach to lending.
What Jamie finds most rewarding about her role is helping members reduce and overcome debt. Guiding people through that process and seeing the stress lifted from their lives is what drives her every day. She’s passionate about creating clear, manageable plans that help members feel confident and in control of their financial future.
Known for her calm, polite, and caring nature, Jamie takes the time to truly listen and understand each member’s situation. She focuses on creating a comfortable, judgment-free environment while delivering solutions that are both practical and tailored to each stage of life.
Having lived in the Weyburn area for over 16 years, Jamie values being part of the community and stays actively involved through her children’s activities and local volunteer opportunities.
Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time at the family cabin, being outdoors, and connecting with family and friends. A fun fact—while she’s originally from Alberta, she’s a dedicated Saskatchewan Roughrider fan.

Eric knows that success, whether in sports or finance, comes from strategy, teamwork, and dedication. With a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Supply Chain Management from the University of Saskatchewan, he brings a sharp analytical mind and a problem-solving approach to every financial challenge.
A lifelong resident of Weyburn, Eric has been deeply involved in the community through sports, both as a player and a coach. He thrives on connection and collaboration, making it his mission to help members navigate their financial paths with confidence.
When he’s not working with members to achieve their goals, you’ll likely find Eric catching a game, staying active, or making the most of summer at Kenosee Lake. Whether on the field, at the lake, or in the office, he’s always focused on the next big win.

With nine years of dedicated service at Weyburn Credit Union, Maria Ursu has cultivated exceptional people skills that shine through in her above-and-beyond service. You may recognize her friendly face from her five years as a teller, where she built strong connections with members and always greeted them with a warm smile.
Beyond the credit union, Maria is also a hairstylist and has been perfecting her craft for over 24 years. She loves the creative aspect of doing hair and the meaningful connections she gets to build with her clients.
Outside of work, Maria is all about balance. She’s a certified mindfulness and meditation instructor, bringing a sense of calm and focus to everything she does. But don’t be fooled—she pairs her zen mindset with a go-getter attitude, whether she’s hitting the gym, traveling to new places, or indulging in her love for all things Disney.
Maria’s passion for people, wellness, and adventure makes her an invaluable part of the WCU team, always ready to serve with both heart and hustle.
When you meet Simone, one thing stands out immediately, her heart for people. Since joining Weyburn Credit Union in 2013, Simone has built a career defined by care, connection, and a commitment to helping both members and her team succeed.
Originally from Australia, Simone made Weyburn her home in 2009 and quickly became a familiar, trusted face to members. Over the years, she’s held numerous member-facing and leadership roles within Weyburn Credit Union. Now, as the Member Relationship Manager, Simone brings all that experience together to guide and support her talented team while ensuring members continue to receive the exceptional service they deserve.
She loves being involved with members, lending a hand when they need it most, and celebrating their milestones along the way.

As a recent addition to the team, he’s jumped into his role with enthusiasm, eager to help members achieve their financial goals and dreams. With a degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance from the University of Regina, Nolan brings both knowledge and a fresh perspective to the table.
Originally from Kenosee Lake, he made Weyburn his home in 2013 and quickly became an active part of the community. Whether he’s officiating hockey, coaching minor baseball, or hitting the golf course, Nolan knows the value of teamwork and dedication, both on and off the field.
