The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced administrative professional to join our lending support team.  Reporting to the Loan Support Manager the Com/Ag Lending Support Rep will provide administrative support to the Commercial and Agriculture Account Managers.  They will be required to stay one step ahead of our lenders and ensure all documentation is completed in accordance to the legislation and submitted prior to deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Grade 12 plus 2 to 4 years of work experience in a lending related role. Previous experience in the financial industry is required.
  • Ability to read and analyse financial statements.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyse data ensuring accurate information is provided to lenders and members.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with a high level of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to accomplish common goals within a team environment demonstrating both flexibility and adaptability.
  • Ability to function in a fast paced working environment.

The application process

If you are short-listed for a position, we will contact you to move forward with an interview. The interview process

After the position closes, our HR team will work hard to create a short list of candidates.  If you are selected for an interview, we'll contact you directly to set up a mutually agreeable time.  Your interview will be conducted by a member of our HR team and the department manager.  You should expect the interview to take between 45-90 minutes, depending on the complexity of the position.  We may ask you to fill out an additional employment assessment after the interview.  All the information needed to access the assessment will be given to you at this time.

After we have completed all the interviews and received all the assessments, we will make our decision.  You will be contacted from a member of our HR team, whether you were our chosen candidate or not. 

The job offer

If you're the selected candidate for the position, we will be contacting you with an offer of employment.  This offer is conditional upon you successfully passing the criminal, financial and reference checks needed for your position.
